Last week marked the half way point of my journey of blogging 50 leadership lessons. Since starting this journey I have gained a lot of new followers, whom I greatly appreciate. For this reason, I have chosen to take a look back and highlight two of my favourite leadership lessons blog posts I have shared so far.
1. Challenge Your Assumptions
This is one that I believe in quite strongly and that has changed me for the better. We all know the old saying that when you assume you make an “ass” of “u” and “me”, and we are all guilty of it sometimes.

2. Practice The Pause
How important is it to think before we respond? What impact does it have? No matter who you are, you cannot control the people or the circumstances around you. Pausing is a powerful leadership tool that will help you gain respect, process your thoughts, as well as get better responses from your team.
